Tampa Bay needs to better advocate for the homeless, people struggling with drug addiction. It needs a civic center for underprivileged children and teens.

Obviously the housing prices have skyrocketed along with homeowner and car insurance.

Why does it feel like “we” the people who own business, worked hard to make this town all sparkly and fun are being pushed out?

It's frustrating and honestly heartbreaking to see great people and their businesses closing everyday. This town wouldn’t be shit without the heart and soul of the people who built it up.

Put a cap on rent increases. Actually keep your word when you say you will have affordable housing available. All I have seen is greed, tearing down housing to build ridiculous condos, bulldozing my lil sad heart.—Krystal Ralph, tattoo artist, Bartender

To commemorate the leap year, Creative Loafing Tampa Bay asked readers and local leaders to chime in on what Tampa Bay needs to be a better place in four years. These are some of the results of the "What Tampa Bay Needs" survey.
