Kids have joined the league at Shuffle in Tampa, Florida, because the owners will take anyone's money, pretty much.
Three weeks into the new year, your resolution to stay active is already a bust. But that doesn’t mean you can’t salvage it by joining a sport.
While St. Petersburg’s century-old shuffleboard club has hundreds of members, a smaller sports emporium in Tampa Heights has a fresh opportunity for you to get back into competitive sports.
Shuffle Tampa’s winter league starts this week, and runs eight weeks including playoffs, with games running between 7 p.m.- 9 p.m. for the two leagues on Wednesday and Thursday nights.
Yes,
Shuffle is also a bar with tater tots and hot dogs, but at least league members get a discount off their tabs all season whether it's a league night or not (they also get a shirt and free practice play when the courts aren’t on a wait).
Your spouse or partner is going to be OK with you doing this. Email
